Monsters University Review

This was released in summer of 2013. The movie is the prequel to 2001 movie Monsters Inc.

The movie starts off with Mike Wazowski visiting Monsters Inc. when he was younger. He stats that he wants to be a scarier and to get to that stage he needs to go to the best university which is Monsters University. When he is older he heads off to Monsters University where he meets James P. "Sulley " Sullivan. At first they don't get along and then they are forced to work together or they will not be in the scare programme. Can they possibly work together.

I absolutely loved this movie. It brought back so many childhood memories. I thought that this could be even better then the first one. The storyline is absolutely brilliant much better then Monsters Inc. storyline. I loved that we got to see some background story of some of the main characters.

The main characters in this where Mike Wazowski played by Billy Crystal. He did a wonderful job as usual as voicing Mike. I really did love Mike in this movie, I also loved how a lot of people can relate to him like having a rival and someone that wants to do good in life! The other main character is James P. Sullivan or just Sulley and he is played by John Goodman. He is amazing as usual, the character is very well done and his character is a lot of people in really life thinking they can just go by life without lifting a finger! There are other characters in the movie life Randall Boggs, Dean Hardscabble and the Oozma Kappa group.

Dan Scanlon directed Monsters University and did a fantastic job at it. He has done work with Pixar before but nothing this major. The movie was produced by Kori Rae, who did one hell of a fantastic job! She also did work on various other movies like A Bug's Life, Toy Story 2, Monsters Inc, The Incredibles, Up and much more.

Overall I really enjoyed watching the movie. There was a lot of funny moments and there where even moments where you were on the edge of your seat. The only major problem I had with the movie was that the ending where Mike and Sulley go into the human world was a tad boring at times but that was the part that brought the suspension in!

Great movie! Awesome prequel :)
